Saul Pichardo, principal of Art of Building, holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in architecture from UC Berkeley, where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies with world renowned architect, builder, author, Christopher Alexander. Saul honed his professional skills during his years working on a multitude of building projects at Alexander's firm, the Center for Environmental Structure.

Saul is a builder, architect, and more important, a focused problem solver and avid building diagnostician. Saul's grasp of design, management and building skills generates creative and efficient solutions that integrate beauty and cost efficiency.

Saul is a member of East Bay AIA, Green Professional Builder and Certified Access Specialist Institute.
