Katalin Bende

Interior Designer

Kataline Bende is a California licensed interior designer. She has a Master's degree in Interior Design from the Hungarian Academy of Crafts and Design in Budapest and a Master's degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley where she studied with Christopher Alexander. For five years, Bende worked at Alexander's office, The Center for Environmental Structure, on a variety of building and academic research projects including the four volume series The Nature of Order.

Her design projects include the award-winning offices of the Hungarian Environmental and Waterworks Museum, commercial offices in the Bay Area, private residences and building restoration works.
